Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on 17 October 1992) was born on 17 October 1992, and is an Indian actress. She has a prominent role in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. She was awarded the National Film Award for Best Actress as the the role of actress Savitri for the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). Three SIIMA Awards were also given to her. Also, she received the Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar's parents include filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar & actress Menaka G. Suresh. Her career began as a child actress in the early 2000s and went back to film after studying fashion design. She had her first lead role in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy has signed her first Tamil projects in the year 2015, and began accepting projects out of Malayalam. In 2015, she released A. L. Vijay's romantic comedies Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu opposite one another. But, both films didn't do very well at the theaters. The actress had to pull out of a variety of projects she had been involved in during 2015, including Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vedam, to free up space for more ambitious projects. In the following years, she was working in Rajini Murugan's Remo in two quick film. Also, Dhanush and she played as the main characters in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. While the date for release of Janakitho Nenu has not been announced, it is reported that it may be later in the month of September, 2020. In 2016, Nenu Sailaja, starring Ram Pothineni, was her debut.
