Aaliyah Haughton became famous in 1994 when she released her first album Age Ain't nothing but a number. In the age group of 15, the album achieved Gold status. R. Kelly heavily influenced the collaboration and brought the artist to the forefront. In 1996 Jermaine and Timbaland released Aaliyah's second album One In A Million. It contained If You Girls Only Knew the single that was most popular. After the debut of the album Aaliyah received international recognition for her performance as an R&B artist. The year 2000 saw her appeared alongside the famous martial arts star Jet Li for the film Romeo Must Die. Her role came about when she was spotted by the film's producer Joel Silver at an awards ceremony. She was cast in the film based on Anne Rice, a vampire movie Queen of the Damned, that came out in 2002. The year 2003 saw her appeared as a character in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. The year 1999, 2001 2002 and 2003, the singer was nominated for four Grammy awards. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. The actress is the first Indian American to be who was born in Connecticut. The stage name Mann is derived from her marriage name Mankad. Aarti Magnumdar is her formal name. However, she has also used Aarti Magumdar. Her acting career began in mid-2000's with minor roles on TV and films. Apart from The Big Bang Theory, her other notable works include Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) and Grey's Anatomy (2017.) She has appeared in numerous commercials for Volvo's international automobile producer. She continues her acting career in Los Angeles, where she lives with her son and husband.
